Rajdhani 4

Continuing in the theme of re-birth of casual dining the 4th re-incarnation of Rajdhani was designed to be more eclectic, more DIY and a little brighter then its earlier predecessor, but not as bright as the original formats. This format used elements like cut bottom cast iron kadhai, cast iron tawa’s as light fixtures, a typically patterned ethnic Indian floor in subtle colors and stress on reflected lighting rather than direct to achieve the desired brief. The wood grain was also made lighter in warm teak tones and the upholstery in muted earthy beiges set the tone for this easy on the eye format.
