Rajdhani was conceived as an upgradation to the original Rajdhani format branded as “KHANDANI RAJDHANI” . the format looked to raise the bar on thali dining space while re-inventing it with new elements continuation of brand colors and a new level of cover density to enhance revenue. Since the format serves mostly Gujarati & Rajasthani food, the Architects took cues from the traditional Lippan art (finger mud painting) and abla art (studded mirror piece art) to create new elements of interest in the interior space. The neutrals turn from ivory beige to grey and set off the incomment purple-wine color of Rajdhani. Breeze blocks, pergolas and rough textures provided a semi outdoor feel to parts of the restaurant.
